Prof. Sabarinathan G is an Associate Professor in the Finance and Control area at IIM Bangalore. Prior to his joining IIM Bangalore, he was a Director on the Board of the Indian subsidiary of CDC Capital Partners, now known as Actis, and has served as Director on the boards of over thirty-five companies and early-stage technology businesses. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of the KITVEN Fund.
He has a PhD from the National Law School of India University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore, and a BSc in Chemistry from Loyola College, Madras University.

She is Co Founder & President of Indian Angel Network (IAN), India’s first and now possibly one of the world’s largest group of business angels, comprising the who’s who of successful entrepreneurs and dynamic CEOs from India and overseas. She built IAN from inception, making it within 10 years a unique institution globally, with over 425 investors across 10 countries and a portfolio of 100+ companies in 7 countries, spanning 17 sectors. She has operationalised IAN’s international operations in London – making it the only angel group in the world to set up operations outside of its home country. She has also established a unique model of an incubator, in partnership with the Indian Government, which leverages 400 mentors to provide mentoring & domain expertise to around 50 young fledgling incubatee companies.
She is a member of the Governing Council of EM3 Services, a nation building venture seeking to create a paradigm shift in the Indian agricultural sector by improving productivity. She helped the company raise funds from an international Venture Capital fund and is actively involved in its strategy and growth. She is a Non Executive Director on the board of Omaxe Ltd, India’s leading real estate development companies with a footprint across 9 States & 30 cities in India, having delivered more than 90 million sq. ft. and with a topline of over Rs. 1800 crores.
Padmaja is widely recognized for her significant contribution to the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Apart from cofounding IAN, she also set up and operationalised the Delhi chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) the world’s largest organization focused on entrepreneurship with 15,000 members in 60 chapters across 14 countries. TiE Delhi has been ranked as the Number One chapter globally for the last 4 consecutive years. She played a key role as Executive Director in building the Indian Venture Capital Association, India’s oldest and largest association of VC and PE firms. In addition she helped the creation of Lankan Angel Network in Sri Lanka. She contributed actively in the Planning Commission’s Committee on “Angel & Early Stage Investing in India” which resulted in a seminal report: “Creating a Vibrant Entrepreneurial Eco system in India”. She is on the Committee of Telecom Centre of Excellence, Selection Committee of MSME and is actively engaged with the various committees of Ministry of Finance, SEBI, etc.
In her corporate avatar at Xansa India, (Xansa was a US$800mn company listed on LSE before being acquired by Steria), she led several functions over a 16 year period : handled recruitment operations, built and successfully executed an innovative brand and communication strategy and led the corporate social responsibility initiative which engaged employees, clients as also the government. She was a key member of the corporate strategy and M&A team as the Company went public, forged joint ventures and the final acquisition of the Indian company. Padmaja picked up entrepreneurial strings very early in her career – she revived and grew the family real estate business in Calcutta – growing if from 50,000 sq ft
to over 250,000 sq ft over 2 years and turned it around to become a profitable venture.
A graduate with English Honours, Padmaja then completed her MBA as well as Chartered Accountancy (Intermediate) with her internship with S.R. Batliboi (an E&Y group company).
2.Nestle Products India Ltd, New Delhi. As a Senior Product Manager, responsible for Dietetic Products, New Products, culinary products and Market Research. 1972 – 77.
3.Rediffusion Advertising, Chennai. As the Branch Director for the Southern Zone handling such major accounts as Mico, MRF, HMT Bulbs, TI Cycles. 1977 – 83.
4.Gum India Ltd, Chennai.(Confectionery). As the main promotor and Chief Executive, brought the company upto a market share of 60% of the gum market in India. Changes in Government policy as well as a weak financial balance sheet had marginalized the company.1983 to 2000.
5.Indian Food Fermentations Ltd.(Processed foods). As the main promotor and Chief Executive this listed company was to franchise the Masala Dosa through automatic dispensing machines.1992 to 2000.
6.Nett10 digital Ltd. A consultancy organization focused on the IT industry and the FMCG industry. 2000 till date.nett10’s primary focus is to bring IT products to the Indian marketplace. Some of these assignments included names such as Murugappa group, Nippo Batteries, BPL, Agro Tech Foods, Patak Foods UK. Business strategy, marketing strategy, product positioning, market entry strategy have been the primary focus areas.
7.Nett10 advisers LLP. A micro venture capital advisory focused on early stage investments (Angel).
Currently deeply involved with the Chennai Angels/IAN and the Angel community at large. Early investor and mentor. Investments include Ecommerce, Genomics, Solar, Education, SaaS with primary focus on consumer facing startups.

Earlier in his career, as President of CDC Software (world’s 12th largest enterprise software company) South & Southeast Asia, managed sales and India Engineering Centre of Excellence. During the 16 years tenure, grew from Systems Engineer to President and involved in growing the company from $50M to $400M with ups and downs. At the age of 35, youngest executive to be given country head responsibilities. Intrapreneurial culture that he inculcated made the company to be shortlisted for prestigious NExT Practices Award for “Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship” by NASSCOM.
Currently residing in Bangalore, Naga holds a B.E. degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India and an MBA degree from the San Diego/Kennesaw State University, United States.
Shanti Mohan, is currently the Founder of LetsVenture. She dons the hat of a Doer, Coach and as a Serial entrepreneur founded her first startup in the late 90’s in the residential gateway space. Today Shanti is an Entrepreneur and Angel investor with a passion to make a difference. Her strong operation and people management experience along with hands-on experience in Product Design, Development and Deployment of solutions makes gives her a compelling differentiation in the start-up domain
She has Experience in diverse roles such as Strategy, Product concept definition, driving customer focus groups and market research and Program Management across cross functional teams
Her Specialties also include working with startups, Angel investing basics, Incubating teams and defining a framework for successful execution.
