Shekar is Partner and Co-founder of Upekkha, a business accelerator for early stage SaaS startups. Shekar was part of two startup exits in the USA. As part of the inception team at Xylan USA, was instrumental in successful IPO and its acquisition by Alcatel for $3 Billion. Shekar Co-founded Allegro Networks in the bay area and sold the India operations to Juniper Networks. Shekar was an Entrepreneur in Residence with Thomas Weisel Venture Partners and helped evaluate and invest in early stage opportunities; Control4, one such successful investment trades in NASDAQ today. Shekar Joined NetApp as President & GM to start India Center & APAC OEM biz. Shekar built $30M OEM business in APAC and grew the India Center to 300+ people. Shekar has helped startups raise capital and has angel invested in a few startups.
